“SOURCING VERSES QUALITY”

"Ace sourcing has broken the myth that out-sourcing degrades the quality and precision which the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) always wants to maintain" says Ankur Lalakia, Business Development Manager, Ace Sourcing Limited.

He accepts that there are always concerns in the mind regarding the quality and standards of OEM and that it plays a vital role in the decision of sourcing a part from a contract manufacturer; but he confidently says that ACE is capable of handling such high precision manufacturing.

He gives an example of a well known US Valve Manufacturing and Distribution Company for which ACE not only manufactured but also rigorously tested the components of the valve in the similar kind of conditions before delivering it directly to the customer. Hence saving on logistic, inventory and manufacturing while keeping the same OEM quality.

He has shown how the valve components (fig. 1) passes through precision test of working under required pressure as checked by ACE itself before the final dispatch (fig. 2), thus ensuring that the customer gets the components that are ready to use!
