SOURCING CAN BE A SMART BUSINESS DECISION

In US, a well established medical equipment manufacturing company was unable to sustain in the market, reason being cost effectiveness. They decided to start outsourcing with these three crucial part from the whole equipment which until now was manufactured in house from bar stoke by machining only.

Here came ACE which started manufacturing it with a different process- investment (lost wax) casting and machining and gave the company a boost in the form of cost, quality and lead-time.

According to Mr Sanam Makadia, Technical Procurement Engineer, Ace Sourcing (India) Limited "Cost cutting, Better business alignment and Customer satisfaction - three main reasons to outsource; though many others are contributory as well."

And today the picture is that the company that just wanted three parts initially, wants to procure whole assembly of that equipment from us.
